How to cancel Uber One
Cancel your Uber One subscription in 3 steps, stop the next charge, and what happens to your access.
You cancel Uber One on its own account page (uber.com), in 3 steps. If you pay through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there instead. You normally keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Cancel Uber One, step by step
- Open the Uber app and tap Account, then Uber One.
- Tap Manage membership, then End membership.
- Confirm; benefits run to the end of the period.
Open Uber One's account page →
Subscribed through the App Store or Google Play?
Then Uber One can't cancel it for you: the store bills you, so you cancel there.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Uber One → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Uber One → Cancel subscription.
A cancellation email you can copy
If Uber One's page won't let you cancel, send this to their support through their help page or chat:
Subject: Please cancel my Uber One subscription Hello, Please cancel my Uber One subscription on the account registered to this email address, with effect from the end of the current billing period, and confirm by email. Please do not renew or charge me again. Thank you.
Questions
Will I get a refund if I cancel Uber One?
Usually not for the period you've already paid for: you keep access until it ends. Some services refund on request in the first few days; ask Uber One's support if you were charged by mistake.
Does deleting the Uber One app cancel it?
No. Deleting an app never cancels a subscription. Cancel on the account page, or in the App Store or Google Play if you subscribed there.
How do I stop Uber One charging me again?
Cancel using the steps above, then check your next statement. If you paid with a card, the charge stops after cancelling; you don't need to cancel the card.
